Resources to help you use the internet, instead of letting the internet use you.

The Internet is a series of pipelines. The algorithms know our habits and how to hook us into lengthy sessions of spending our precious attention. While many of us are aware that this is happening, it is another thing entirely to learn how to disengage. Social media is designed to keep you scrolling, promising entertainment, information, and connection. It delivers little on those promises. Basically, we are not Internet users. The Internet is using us, and we are the product. That's why I'm working on this resource index.

Below is a series of toggle headers. You can click them to reveal menus of links with brief descriptions.

As a rule, I've included resources that do not use algorithms to direct your engagement. You are free to click, save, bookmark, and navigate according to your own interests and needs.
